Why did you become a recruiter?

Growing up, I watched my mother excel in the recruiting and talent acquisition world, and I have always looked up to her! While I’d love to say I had it all planned out, the truth is I sort of fell into recruiting – and it turned out to be the perfect fit.

During college, I landed an internship in the field, which led to me being recruited to be a technical recruiter. What keeps me passionate about this work is the opportunity to be creative and learn about people – I love discovering what makes each person unique.

What can candidates expect when partnering with you?

I believe in being my authentic self and encouraging others to do the same. As a former Division 1 long-distance swimmer at Colgate University, I learned the value of dedication and building strong relationships – qualities I bring to every interaction.

I understand that making a job move is a significant decision that requires careful consideration and support. My goal is to take as much off your plate as possible, serving as your biggest advocate and trusted advisor. I find my greatest motivation in learning about YOUR story and helping you navigate your accounting or finance career journey with compassionate partnership and respect.

What are your personal interests outside of work?

One of my most rewarding activities is coaching swim lessons for children with physical and mental disabilities. It’s a way for me to combine my love for swimming (which I’ve been doing since age 9!) with giving back to the community.

When I’m not at the pool, you can find me diving into a good mystery or romance novel or exploring new restaurants and happy hour spots around the Twin Cities. I’m a huge fan of Barcelona Wine Bar in the North Loop – it’s SO GOOD! Another favorite is The Galley, a food truck-style spot.

I’m also a huge musical theatre nerd! Whenever I visit New York, you can bet I’m catching a show on Broadway. Some of my favorites are Moulin Rouge, Book of Mormon, Waitress, Into the Woods, and In the Heights.
